The classic 225-liter barrique, made from high-quality oak, is designed to provide the optimal balance between volume and wood contact surface, promoting harmonious wine aging.

Perfect for producing fine wines with subtle notes of vanilla, spice, and toasted wood, while preserving the freshness and expression of the fruit.

Large-capacity barrel, preferred by wineries for aging premium wines. Made from carefully selected oak, it ensures slow micro-oxygenation and a fine integration of the wood’s aromas.

In addition to producing new barrels, our team also handles the reconditioning of old barrels, restoring their original quality and beauty.

We carefully select each stave to ensure optimal grain density and perfect uniformity, guaranteeing a stable structure and even aging for every barrel.
Choose from different levels of toasting—light, medium, medium-plus, or heavy—to achieve the ideal balance of aroma, tannin, and complexity for your wine.
Each stave undergoes open-air aging for at least two years to enhance the oak’s aromatic potential and ensure a balanced and elegant barrel profile.
The wood is fully traceable back to its forest of origin in Romania, ensuring authenticity and the unique character imparted by the region’s climate and soil.

mihaela.czipczer@unicom-group.roWe have over 20 years of experience in oak barrel production, which is why we have answers to any winemaker’s questions.
Romanian oak, matured at the 45th parallel, is well known for its straight and fine grain, contact structure and high level of tannins. The slow growth and the fine porosity contribute to the unique aroma and a gradual integration of flavors, ideal for refined wine aging.
We select Quercus petraea and Quercus robur species for their superior density and fiber. The staves are split along the grain and naturally air-dried for a minimum of 24 months, ensuring optimal aging, stability, and the preservation of the wood’s unique properties.
Our barrels are available in different toasting levels: light, medium, medium-plus, heavy. Each level is thoroughly controlled to develop a certain aromatic profile, giving winemakers the ability to achieve the desired character and complexity of the wine.
Each barrel is 100% traceable and has a documentation that certifies the source and the wood processing, offering winemakers the certainty that our barrels are authentic and made from high-quality wood.
