1999

The beginning

The start of operations of the wood processing facility (processing staves/oak semi-finished products) in Roșiori de Vede in 1999.

2000

Development of oak barrel production line

During this period, the cooperage expanded and began (or strengthened) the production of barrels and related oak products (staves, panels, lumber), also focusing on exports.

2003

Barriques

Around 2003, the Roșiori de Vede cooperage (operated by Unicom Wood Production) implemented a modern barrique barrel production line, modeled after the French system, with imported know-how and equipment.

2004

Expansion into international markets

After launching the modern cooperage, Tonnellerie Vallach made its first exports to South Africa, including to the renowned Nederburg winery, thereby opening the door to international collaborations.
